Poland Visa Application 2022 and Requirements

The Required Documents Need For Poland Visa Application

  • Your passport that carries copies of your previous visas if applicable, the passport must be valid for at least 3 months before your intended return date it must also have at least two blank pages.

  • Valid flight air ticket reservation with dates and flight numbers indicating your entry and exit from Poland
  • Hotel Booking Reservation for the entire duration of your intended stay in Poland
  • Proof of civil status i.e marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if it’s needed
  • A means of subsistence – Proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of your stay in Poland.

If you are employed:

  • An employment contract
  • A current statement of your account statement from the latest 6 months
  • A No-objection certificate from your employer
  • Income Tax Return (ITR) form or Certificate of Income Tax deducted at the source of salary

If you are self-employed:

  • A copy of your business license
  • Your current bank statement of the latest 6 months
  • Income Tax Return (ITR)

If you are a student:

  • Proof of enrollment
  • Leave of approval letter from school or university

If retired:

  • Pension statement of the latest 6 months

A Regular revenue generated by property proof of the latest 6 months if applicable.

Poland Tourist Schengen Visa

  • An invitation letter with the address and phone number from a family member or sponsor, school, or employer– if applicable
  • A bank statement of the last 6 months
  • Passport photos

Poland Visa for Business Purposes

  • An invitation letter from the Polish company you will be visiting and the company’s detailed address including the dates of your visit
  • A certificate from your employer stating your purpose for your business travel
  • If there were previous trade connections between both companies, proof of such circumstances must be provided
  • Business bank statement starting from the last 6 months
  • Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents
  • Based on the applicant’s expenses during his/her stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenditures on the invitation letter.

Poland Visa for Medical Purposes

  • A  medical report from your home country 
  • A medical attestation from a hospital or doctor in Poland confirming the date of your appointment and your medical condition 
  • Payment receipt of medical fees

Poland Visa for Cultural, Sports, Film Crew, or Religious Purposes

  • Invitation letter from the above-mentioned institutions with circumstances upon the nature and events of visit your visit expense coverage

Poland Visa for Under-Age Children

  • Proof of parent’s or guardian’s income, for example, work contract that indicates monthly income or a bank statement or business license
  • Notarized travel permission from parent parental travel consent
  • If one parent lives in another country they must provide their notarized parental travel consent


Note: When a child is applying at the Polish embassy/consulate in their home country, the legal guardian or parent must accompany their underage children.

Poland National D-type visa


If you plan to stay in Poland for a period longer than 90 days even if it’s just one more day over 90 i.e 90 days, during a visit or more within a half-year period calculated from your first date of entry, you are required to apply for a national D-type visa.
