Worth of The Université de Montréal Scholarship
The only criterion for evaluation to determine the amount of the scholarship is the strength of your academic record. There are three levels in the ranking of the result analysis, these are :
Level – A: $11,998 per annum (two sessions, 30 credits equivalent) or $5,999 per annum (15 credits) or $399 per credit
Level B: $5,718 per annum (two sessions, 30 credits equivalent) or $2,859 per session (15 credits) or $190.60 per credit
Level C: $2,000 per annum (spreads across 2 sessions, 30 credits equivalent) or $1,000 per session (15 credits) or $66.67 per credit
This applies to tuition fees of $23,662 per annum (30 credits equivalent)
A partial exemption scholarship from the additional tuition fees normally charged to international students is available as a form of supporting your graduate studies as an international student
$9,420 per year (spreads across 3 sessions, 45 credits equivalent ) or $3,140 per session (15 credits equivalent)
This amount applies to tuition fees of $27,300 per year (45 credits equivalent).
A complete waiver of the additional tuition fees normally charged to international students is available as a form of supporting your graduate studies as an international student

$19,339 per annum (spreads 3 sessions, 45 credits equivalent) or $6,546 per session (equivalent to 15 credits) for the entire duration of your studies.

Requirements for Université de Montréal Scholarships
The applicant must fulfill all of the following requirements below to qualify for Global Excellence Postgraduate Taught Scholarship;
- Must possess a study permit and who are neither permanent residents nor Canadian citizens.
- Must be registered full-time in a program of study throughout their studies.
- Must not be a beneficiary from another form of tuition fee exemption through another policy or measure. French and Belgian Francophone students for instance already benefit from this type of exemption.
